The last few weeks and the next two to come have been and will be crazy. I can't remember the last time I have felt this busy. It's a love / hate relationship really. One day, in particular, was a bit hard for me as I was not feeling my best, yet had to put that aside and continue on with my many responsibilities that day. This is what helped me through my day...
While in Idaho a few weekends ago these 3 little boys were out riding around on their bikes. One by one they came in the house crying because they had wrecked and fallen off.
Crash #1 was taken by Crewzier. His medicine was a couple of saltine crackers and back out the door he went.
Crash #2 happened to Ronan. His was a little more severe with a scraped up arm. He's idea for a cure was an apple juice bag {translation - capri sun} After that he was a happy camper and back on his bike.
Crash #3 ended with Hendrix. His was the worst of all. He crashed his nose and mouth into the parked car somehow and a whole lot of blood was involved. His request for happiness was to hold his baby sister.
What I learned from them was when you fall off your bike you get back on.
On my "particular" hard day I had most definitely fallen off my bike and I certainly could not let my three little nephews show me up. I got back on my bike...but only because they did.

Oh, Syd. That's really sweet. That actually made me cry. I feel like I've crashed my bike off a 100 foot cliff right now, and that was a good reminder to just dust myself off and hop back on. Thank you for that. (And they are SOOO cute!)
So insightful and sweet! Kids help us keep life in perspective, don't they? It was so fun to see you and Adam on Sunday. Thanks again for all your help! We're really enjoying the fruits of Adam's labors.

I love this story so much. I still chuckle when I think about you telling it to us. What good lessons we can learn from kids. Fearless, I'll tell ya! Fearless!
