My sweet Mother turned the big 60 over the Summer.I know what your thinking...
Dang, she looks good!
Adam made a cute comment to my parents last time we were with them. He said, "Alright, what I want to know is when are you guys going to start looking your age?" So true. They both are looking great.
Those of my siblings and their spouses that were able got together for a fun little dinner party at a local restaurant in Rupert called the Drift Inn. It was yummy food and good company.
My talented sister-in-law Dae put together a super cute memory book that had a picture of each child with Mom and a letter from them. We did this for my Dad back when he turned 60, and they both really loved it.
I just love G-bird and I'm grateful to have her example to live up to.
P.s. my flash must have been a little to bright for some people.

It's true. Someday your parents should start looking their age. Like your mom should get some wrinkles and your dad some gray hair! Your family is the best! I wish we saw more of ya'll
Don't you just love birthdays?!! Seriously, the g-bird looks sooo young. Shoot, Gareth looks more like 60 in that photo than your mom does. Either our parents look young (which is the case) or 60 is just not as old as it seemed when I was 10. I remember my mom saying how sad it was that her dad died at such a young age, 62, and I thought as a kid that 62 seemed about right....didn't sound so young to me. But now I get it.
I think you mean the flash was a little too bright for Gareth! ha ha, he seems the most affected by it. Yes, your mom looks incredible for 60. I hope that's a Griffin thing! I just love your family.
I love the G-bird. She is good through and through and it's no secret that she loves her husband, her family and her life. I'm so happy that she is my sister. I cherish that relationship.

You do have a wonderful Mom and I've always loved having her for my aunt. If only we could all have it together like G-bird.
