So over the weekend I headed up to Logan to attend my baby shower with my awesome family members. My sweet cousin Linny {third to last pic} was quite the hostess and as usual totally went above and beyond. She is pretty talented like that. The theme was Lil Pumpkin. The decoration were so stinking cute as you can see from the pics. I loved hearing that Linny's little girl Lydia referred to the ribbons hanging in the window as a car wash. Kids are the best. We started the fun by eating a very yummy lunch of Mexican Haystacks. Defiantly will be needing to write that one down in the recipe book. I'm still thinking about the apple cider drink. Hello! Could the jars be any cuter? After our lunch we played a pumpkin trivia game. It's surprising how little I knew about pumpkins. For example did you know they were a fruit? Just throwing that piece of information out there. I received the nicest gifts and I'm so grateful for such a loving family. My fun sister-in-laws and my mom {second to last pic} made the drive up and afterwards we made a few fun stops at some stores. What's a "girls day" without some shopping? The last picture is with my mom and Grandma whom I both adore. I have been told in the last few months that I look just like my Mother about a dozen times. I have always thought that G-bird looked like my Grandma. So would you say that the three of us look alike? Just wondering. It was a perfect day.
Thank you so much to all those who could come and to those who helped out.
I love you all!

I'm glad I could be there. It was the cutest baby shower! Linny is a creative genius- it was so fun seeing the Smith girls who I don't get to see very often. You couldn't be a more darling pregnant girl if you tried! Oh, and haha on Lydia's comment about the car wash!
That last comment was from me. . . Jess was using my computer last night and was still logged in I guess.
I'm so sorry I had to miss it! What are the odds of you being in Cache Valley when I'm up at City of Rocks? You look just adorable. I love Suzie's haircut! Hope you are getting that name narrowed down. Love you!
I'm sad I missed it too!! :( :( I'm really wishing now that I didn't have a dumb job that requires me to work weekends and would have just made the trip home that weekend. It looks like Linny did an awesome job and you look just as cute as ever! I can't wait to meet the little guy!
What a fun party! It looked so fun and I'm glad you'll have such a great group to help welcome in your sweet little boy.
