Over the last couple of weeks I have been very moved by an act of love given by my sister-in-law. She has always been an amazing person to me. She watched over me through my years of "finding myself"... always giving the advice I needed to hear.
Susie was a surrogate for a couple and just gave birth to their two twin boys. Seriously, could there be an any kinder act of love out there? I think not. She is now recovering and all is well with her and the babies. I get goosebumps every time I think about the sacrifice her and her family just went through to help another family out.
When I got the text from Bubba {my brother} saying all was well, I just started crying.
Life is amazing.
Love is amazing.
She is amazing.

Yes, she is. How high she has raised the bar for all of the rest of us. It was a sacrifice for her kids and Gareth as well and I think they all should feel very proud and fulfilled right about now.
I hadn't heard anything about it, so when Mom told me Susie had the twins I was shocked. Susie needs a blog so I know what's going on in her life. Do you think you could do that? I would have done it for Paul and DeNae.
Syd I just LOVE your creative blog posts. Sometimes they do make me sad...like this one and the last one, because I SO SO wish I was closer with your family. Maybe that will be my goal for this next year. Thanks for the great inspiration.
Wow, I had no idea about Susie either. Whose twins were they? I am so impressed with her and have said that I would maybe only do that for one of my siblings. And then just a maybe. I am glad things went well.
