In celebration for the new year we spent the night in the good company of dear friends. It was very low key which was perfect after a long day of work for Adam and a long day of a headache for me. I began 2010 spending most of the morning looking back at pictures over the last decade. Wow! Life is so wonderful and pictures are great for reminding me of just that. I loved the road trips taken, the places I called home, the accomplishments I made, the people I meet, the boy that I fell in love with, the birthdays that were celebrated, the embarrassing moments that I had, the trials I faced, the dinner conversations at restaurants, the food that was eaten, the cars repairs that were made, the butterflies in my stomach, the movies that were watched, the clothes that came in and out of fashion, the haircuts and colors that I dared, the sicknesses that I had, the mistakes I made, and the testimony that grew. I have been pondering long and hard over my 2010 goals and here is what I decided to shoot for...

{stop running away from growing up}
{and much more of this}

Syd, You are so adorable. I love your blog posts. Loved all your letters to people. So entertaining to read. I'm sorry we didn't get to see you guys while K&B were here- but I totally understand why it didn't work out. Glad you had a great Christmas and New Years! I hope 2010 is much better for you health wise. Hang in there

Syd - what a great thing to look back, but more importantly - TO LOOK FORWARD!!! And, for that matter, I would like us to all go back to the onion field and frolic! (i loved that!)
