1st date re-lived

Adam and I had our first date a year ago on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I thought it would be fun to surprise him and relive our first date, this time it was on me. We started it off by going back to Tucano's which is an extremly good Brazilian grill...his favorite.

My cousin Ky and her husband Brody told us to try the chicken hearts...Adam did as I tried to just look at them and not picture it beating. Sorry guys but somehow it didn't make it into my mouth. I got it on my fork though. Baby steps is all I can say.

My favorite thing about this restaurant is that you have to put this little wooden thing on red when you want them to stop bringing you meat. It was rarley on that color. My personal fav is the grilled pineapple! yummy!

We shared this amazing drink called Impanema and I am determined to figure out how to make it.

After dinner we headed back to our place where I had Dan in Real Life waiting for us. We went and saw this movie when it was in theaters and loved everything about it so I was happy to own this one. At the end of our date last year Adam took me home but I was having such a good time I didn't want it to end so I suggested we drive to 7-11 for some hot chocolate. Funny thing about that is it makes me pretty dang sick after, but that's how much I wanted to keep the date going! This time I just made hot chocolate for us and yes I did get sick for about 24 hours... probably because it was so freakin rich! The best part of our fist date is that we ended it with our first kiss. I know! So not like me, but that's how perfect the whole night had been. I LOVE my husband and am so grateful for him in my life!
